Our Services Terms & Conditions Terms & ConditionsPlease read the terms and conditions before to submit any inquiry. Clients, asking both for our full board services package and hiring partial services are advised to follow the instructions carefully.A person/group hiring all the services mentioned below will be considered full board client/group. Rules and regulations with details of services are given as under:Documentation The company provides assistance to the groups and individuals regarding all official documentation obtaining trekking and mountaineering permits. Applying for permissions, depositing royalties, pollution fees and trekking fees. Arranging a briefing and de-briefing with the ministry of tourism, extremely require pre-arrangements prior to your arrivals in Islamabad. We also assist our clients obtaining helicopter rescues and help in custom clearance for import and export of mountaineering stuff bringing by the expeditions. “K2 International” also arranges insurances of local guides, cooks, and high-altitude and low-altitude porters. We further make flight re-confirmations for your abroad journeys on returning from the mountains.Transportation The company makes arrangements of transport for the clients and their baggage only inside Pakistan from the date and place of arrival till the date and place of departure. No price will be included in our full package for any fare of cargo sent to or from Pakistan through any international flight by the client.Since flights to Skardu and Gilgit are subjected to weather, incase of flight cancellation, the company provides road transport. Only in exceptional cases, clients will be allowed to wait for the flights more than a day at any destination.The status of transport on metal roads will be air- conditioned buses, coasters, vans and cars, but in the far off remote zones amongst northern areas only non A/C jeep transport will be provided on non-metal roads.Normally air-conditioned transport will be based on seat-by-seat sharing and jeeps will carry maximum 4 persons each. However if the number of members is more than the number of seats available in a vehicle, separate transport will be arranged. Once the number of members and the total weight of the baggages are confirmed, status of transport/vehicle will be cleared.Accommodation The company uses selected type of hotels for its valued clients. All rooms will be provided on twin sharing bases, however single rooms can also be provided in particular cases. Similarly, clients will be sharing tents on camping, however, single or triple tent accommodation is also possible on request with large and small groups. Clients are advised to mention their willingness for hiring special rooms at least one week prior to their arrival in Pakistan and must ask for the tents one day earlier before leaving any caravan for a camping night.Porters The company assists expedition and trekking parties hiring low and high-altitude porters. Since the number of adventurers proceeding Pakistan increases year by year, number of porters are getting decreased comparing to the number of groups, so it seems difficult to find a good team of porters to be the part of your caravans in the mountains.“K2 International” proudly assures its clients accompanying a good team of strong and friendly porters in Baltistan as the owner of our company belongs to the most porter coming regions of Machulu Hushe valleys. This remote valley of Baltistan produced a number of renowned mountaineers in Pakistan and gave a big reputation to the country by achieving goals, getting on the tops of 8000mt peaks and helping various expeditions working as high- altitude porters. Nearly 55 percent of the total need of annual porterage comes up from only this area and the rest 45 percent from all around Baltistan. This means that our family relations with the entire 55 percent porters of Baltistan will make your trips smooth and unforgettable. Machulo and Hushe are the villages where there are the only self financed climbing schools of Pakistan founded to promote mountaineering and strengthen adventure tourism in Pakistan. The first mountaineers of Baltistan on the top of K2 also belong to Machulo village and the youth of Hushe maintain the famous Ghandoghoro pass and assist trekkers and porters with fix ropes over this legendary crossing.Food on Trek The company provides all possible camping quality food on trek. Our professional kitchen crew can prepare a number of Pakistani, Chinese, English and Continental dishes. Don’t be surprised if you have a Bar.B.Q night at Concordia, or you smell the cheese melting on altitudes and you see a pizza included in your menu, may be there is someone’s birth day, just let them know and you cheer for the wonderful cake in a while!! It is possible. Not only the crew cooks quality food but also they try to spend every moment facilitating the guest, pitching up the tents, making warm water for washing, carrying the thermos of tea and hot water for distances with the guest, helping to carry the personal rucksacks and walking together on trails talking and telling stories about the mountains and about the people living there…Note: Please ask for more details regarding food and menu. Food list and itinerary wise daily menu is available on request separately for breakfasts, lunches and dinners.Hotel Meals Though the restaurants in our selected hotels offer a number of quality cuisines, however keeping in view several choices of food we leave it optional to the guest and our full board package normally doesn’t include the price for hotel food in the cities like Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi, but the bed and breakfast is always quoted together. Hotels in northern areas, like, Besham, Chilas, Gilgit, Skardu, Hunza and Sawat offer a variety of quality food both buffet and table serving. Once the trip is started, guests are expected to dine in the same selected hotels where they stay. Only on exceptional opportunities the restaurant can be different from the staying ones, this can be decided with your guide.Drinks: Soft drinks like water bottles, Pepsi cola and juice packs are not quoted either in single services or full board services packages. In the mountains our staff are advised to boil the water and make drinkable for the guest. Clients are also requested to bring good water purifying pills to avoid diarrhea and other stomach problems. Though the crew never wastes any moment taking care of the team making all possible efforts to maintain the smoothness of the caravan.Tent & Equipment The company provides kitchen and mess equipments including kitchen tent, mess tent, member and toilet tents. We have both imported and local made tents which extremely fulfill the weather requirements in the glaciers, like Baltoro and Biafo. Hiring any quality of tent is negotiable during the correspondence before starting any trip while offering quotations. Kitchen and mess utensils, like table, chair, tarpaulins/sheets and other items are always in the standard quality. It is also possible that we assist the expeditions and trekkers hiring / buying a number of mountaineering gears like ropes, crampons, epigases and many more things related to mountain equipmentsSpecial Note Royalties, pollution, trekking, helicopter rescue and custom clearance Fees will not be included in the full board services package. The company will arrange no personal insurance of any client. No international air- fare will be included any time in our quotes.All type of expanses relating to persons like personal insurance, phone calls, laundry, drinks, purchasing and medicals are not included in a quote for any time. Tips to drivers, porters, guide and cooks are also not negotiable in any package.

Maherbrum, Gondoghoro and K7 BC Trek The famous hushey valleys are situated at the east of Skardu in the foot of Masherbrum Mountains which leads to Ghandogoro La to K-2 Base Camp and the great walls. The Hushe Valley runs from Masherbrum Mountain (at 7,821 meters, 24th highest in the world) south to the Shyok River, opposite Khaplu. Hushe, the last village up the valley, is about 140 Kms east of Skardu and is the starting point for treks to various summer pastures up five glaciers. Masherbrum Glacier/Base Camp, Gondogoro, Charaksa, Chogolisa, Honboro, and Aling Glaciers, Hulde, Saltoro River, Kondus, Saling, Kande, Nangmah Valley and Glacier. The area falls under the terrority of Central Karakoram National Park and offer unique opportunies for rock climbing, paragliding, hunting and nature exploration trips.
